5 Tips To Stay In Shape This Hari Raya

After the new moon is sighted, the holy month of Ramadan comes to an end with a celebration that includes special prayer, shared family meals, and socializing. Traditional Hari Raya dishes are often high in sugar and fat, and while all of these could be considered as part of a normal balanced diet, they can be harmful to your health when consumed in large quantities.

Here are the 5 simple tips to stay in shape this Raya:

  1. Eat Nuts

Eating nuts as part of a healthy diet may be good for your heart. They're also a great snack food and can be shared with your family members during family bonding time.

  1. Exercise

If you think that you are eating too many delicious cuisines that makes you fat. Take a walk with your parents, visit the local parks, or engage with some outdoor sports. You'll feel more energized, and you'll be able to indulge in a few extra treats as a result.

  1. Control Portion Size

Increase your intake of vegetables and lean meats while reducing your intake of white rice, fatty meats, and sweet treats. You can also use smaller plates to make your meal a smaller portion. This creates the illusion that the portions are large enough to satisfy your appetite.

  1. Drink Enough Water

Drinking more water will make you feel fuller for longer periods and prevent overeating. Increased water consumption benefits your overall health by improving concentration and energy levels, as well as clarifying and brightening your skin.

  1. Increase Fiber Intake

Go for high-fiber food such as a variety of beans, whole grains, fruits, and vegetables. Or you may want to try Fiber Up drink!

High-fiber food can help you prevent constipation when you eat too many unhealthy snacks or dishes when you visit relatives' homes.
